Hello, Oreloki here. This is the spot where you can find my latest work. I specialize in maps, though I also do some items and textures. Don't expect anything articulated from me though. My experience in 3D rigging is, well, nothing. I do, however, have a full education in studio arts, and my eye for design? I'll let the product speak for itself.
Character Models
The WIPs of future playable characters. Friendly critique appreciated.
Dragon Base (Very very rough WIP)
The general shape is there, but the model is highly un-optimized and a bit wonky in places still. I've yet to create any head variants, and I'm thinking horns would be best as manes. But that's besides the point. Dragons, guys!
Bird Base (Also new wings) (View in 3D-->Here)
Head Variations (From left to right, top: Stork, Bird of Prey, Standard. Bottom: Duck, Parrot, Corvid.
Maps
keep in mind that, complex as they may look, I refuse to use anything but low-poly models in my maps (Such as WoW models and my own creations). Therefor, they produce little to no lag. I have two laptops, and one is such a dinosaur that it can hardly keep up with a game of solitaire these days. Naturally, I subject it to all my map tests. Even though it struggles to load the game itself, the maps produce only a tolerable amount of lag for it, meaning a normal, non-decrepit computer should have no problems fully utilizing these maps. Thanks to my fair decency in creating 3D objects, each of my maps has a certain uniqueness to it that cannot be found anywhere else, since I posses the ability to create items specific to the maps needs. This is most evident in the Sky's edge, where I decided that the default floating island models that come with the game simply aren't enough for me, so I created an array of cave-riddled and oddly-shaped islands to suit my own needs.
And so, without further ado,
Default Map
Status: Complete
Mt. Greenspire
Status: Incomplete
Fire Canyon
Status: Incomplete
The Sky's Edge
Status: Complete
And my personal favorite,
The Garden of Giants
Status: Complete
(FYI That little orange speck on the sidewalk is the character model)
This won't be the last you see from me!
